These are the items I use and trust for training, racing, and trail runs. Each piece has been tested on the road, trail, and everything in between!
Altra Torin 7 - Cushioned and responsive for road running. Love the wide toe box and zero drop design combined with the unique design.
Altra Torin 8 - Wider than the previous version, but just as reliable for daily runs and plenty of miles. Been loving these shoes so far! Both the Torin 7 & 8 are unavailable from Altra as the Torin 9 recently made an appearance (I will probably have this shoe soon...)
Altra Timp 5 - My go to trail shoe, offering great grip with the Vibram soles and aggressive tread. Good cushioning for comfort for long off-road adventures and also zero drop. Also features Velcro strap behind for attaching running gaiters. No longer available but the Timp 6 seems to be a good alternative.
Altra Lone Peak 9+ - This is my go to for hiking (not through winter) and aggressive trail runs where being able to feel the ground is important.
Hoka Rocket x2 - My fastest race shoes which have gotten me both my 5K and 10K pb! x2 is no longer available but x3 looks good too!
Decathlon 5L Running Vest - Lightweight, fits snugly, and has enough space for long road or trail runs.
Harrier Trail Running Kinder 10L Running Vest - new piece of gear! Excited to use this for some longer trail runs, especially as winter gets near.
Decathlon Kalenji Basic Running Shirt - Lightweight, quick-drying and affordable.
Decathlon Domyos Running Shorts - Comfortable and minimalist, never had any issues!
Decathlon Socks - No blisters, no worries! I also am guilty of using toe socks for extra blister protection on long runs! I've recently been using the R900 thin which are even more breathable and still comfortable.
Garmin Forerunner 265 Watch - Tracks my runs, heart rate, and pacing and much more. The permanent tan line on my wrist says enough!
Sinner Sport Sunglasses - Lightweight and polarized for bright days. Also work well for cycling. I would love to get the Oakley Kato someday
Montane Trail Lite Cap - Breathable and keeps the sun and sweat out of my eyes.
Inov8 Running Gloves - Thin but warm enough for winter runs
Harrier Trail Running Exmoor 2.5L Waterproof Jacket - keep me dry when I need it!
Harrier Trail Running Dartmoor Waterproof Trousers - not actually worn this yet but full set for when it's wet.
